PLEASE KNEEL AS WE BEGIN OUR NOVENA:

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, etc.

In Honor of the Holy Face Of Jesus

(composed by Saint Therese of the Child Jesus & the Holy Face)

o Jesus, I Who in Your bitter Passion I did become "The most abject

of men, a Man of Sorrows", II venerate Your Sacred Face, whereon

there once did shine I the beauty and sweetness of the Divinity; I but now for my sake, I it has become the face of a leper! I Nevertheless, under those disfigured features, IIrecognize Your Infinite Love, I and I am consumed with desire to love You and make You loved by all men. I The tears which stream in such abundance from Your sacred eyes I appear to me as so many precious pearls that I delight to gather up, I in order to purchase the souls of poor sinners by means of their infinite value.

o Jesus, I whose Adorable Face ravishes my heart, II implore You

to fix deep within me Your Divine Image I and to set me on fire with Your Love, I that so I may be found worthy I to come to the

contemplation of Your Glorious Face in Heaven. I Amen.
